Lyme Disease and Heat Intolerance

Having dealt with my Lyme Disease, LD, for the past three months, I have learned to recognize this new thingy called heat intolerance.
Prior to LD, I relished 80 degree days and working in the gardens for hours on end. LD causes this annoying problem with any temperatures above 70.
I've discovered the pattern that my body expresses. The first sign that it's too hot, is when the center of my back, an area like a ten inch triangle, starts to feel like someone has applied a hot, moist towel. My skin in that area feels like to is standing up and it starts to itch something fierce, similar to a heat rash. Next, my entire body feels like I have walked into a hot, muggy swamp and I become beyond uncomfortable.
Hmmm, it's overwhelming and as soon as possible, I run into the house, set the air conditioner at around 65 and start stripping off my clothes.
It's hard to describe such an intense level of discomfort. It is Huge!

So, I go out to work and play in the yard, for much shorter stints and it completely depends upon the temperature.
Before my LD, too much heat was characterized by sweating...not anymore. I listen to my body and when I feel that hot back area, I head indoors.
